The community of Cobb County is mourning the tragic loss of 57-year-old Yodit Momo, who died following a fatal traffic collision on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Old Paper Mill Road and Lower Roswell Road. Her sudden passing has left family members, friends, and local residents in deep sorrow.
According to the Cobb County Police Department, Momo was traveling westbound in a 2014 Toyota Camry when her vehicle entered the intersection and collided with an eastbound 2020 Dodge Ram. Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene and provided immediate assistance.
Despite life-saving efforts, Yodit Momo sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that no other injuries were reported, and her next of kin has been notified as part of standard procedure.
Investigators from the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office and local police temporarily closed the intersection while processing evidence and reconstructing the circumstances of the crash. The cause and contributing factors remain under active investigation.
